A lifelong Catholic and baseball fan Matt has always felt at home in Ballparks and Cathedrals. Matt and Sherry are passionate about sharing their love of the Catholic faith and baseball with others as they work toward their
Ballparks and Cathedrals was founded in 2023 after many years of visiting Ballparks and Cathedrals on our travels. A lifelong Catholic and baseball fan Matt has always felt at home in Ballparks and Cathedrals. Matt and Sherry are passionate about sharing their love of the Catholic faith and baseball with others as they work toward their goal of visiting all 30 MLB ballparks and the Catholic Cathedral in each MLB city.

At Ballparks and Cathedrals, we will work with your group to develop an experience that combines faith and fun. We will arrange events that include baseball games, Mass, tours of Ballparks and Cathedrals, along with educational presentations highlighting the similarities between baseball and Catholicism.

About Me
My Background
A lifelong baseball enthusiast and a cradle Catholic, I have always enjoyed the awe and wonder that I experience when visiting ballparks and cathedrals. I want to share my love of baseball and the Catholic faith with others through shared experiences highlighting the physical and spiritual beauty of Ballparks and Cathedrals. As I make my way to each Major League Ballpark I plan to visit each Catholic Cathedral in all the MLB cities. I can think of no better way to combine two of my greatest passions in life while sharing my faith with others.
I am a parishioner of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Bainbridge, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I am a husband, father of two college-aged children, an educator, and middle-aged amateur baseball player.
